Toronto – The Numero Uno daughter Take Off, ridden by the Olympic Champion Eric Lamaze, was placed third in the 'Big Ben International Challenge', at the Toronto Royal Winter Fair.

Only four combinations, including the only eight-year-old Numero x Indoctro x Grannus x Argentinus mare Take Off, stayed clear in this exceedingly difficult Grand Prix. The time of Lamaze and Take Off was good for the victory, but unfortunately one knockdown placed them third. Michael Whitaker claimed victory with Wonami van de Aard, before the Dutch rider Harrie Smolders with Exquis Oliver Q. Nick Skelton and Transmission placed fourth.

The Numero Uno daughter was not only successful in the Grand Prix. She was already placed fourth in the Welcome Class. The next day Take Off placed fifth.

Take off is bred by Mr. J. Coolen from Kelpen (NED).

Numero Uno offspring second in Youngster Tour Final.

Leszno – The Numero Uno son Uno's Saffier, ridden by the Danis rider Andreas Schou, was successful in the Youngster Tour during CSI-3*W Leszno (Poland).

The second day, the 7-year-old Numero Uno x Amor son, sold by De Wiemselbach, was placed third in the Youngster Tour. The next day, the Danish rider rode the excellently-jumping Uno's Safier to the second place in the Final.
