Vaust comes from the most influential sires in modern performance horse breeding. He is very calm and good natured on the ground, has exceptional talent, a winner's attitude and lots of scope. He is quick, bold and honest, yet Vaust is careful over the course.
In Europe he placed 2nd in 2008 Dutch 6 year old finals.
In Canada he placed 1st in Spruce Meadows Continental (1.35m), 2nd in Spruce Meadows (1.40m), Winner at Milner Downs Grand Prix and 3rd in Thunderbird Grand Prix (1.45m).
By his prowess, Vaust will continue the "tradition of influence" in show jumping left by his legendary bloodlines. Furioso II was approved for the Oldenburg studbook in 1967 and later was approved for Hanover, Rhineland, Hessen and Westfalia. For many years, Furioso II was ranked in the top three sires of leading money winners in Germany and had winners in all disciplines. Ramiro Z an international performer himself under Fritz Ligges, influenced nearly all European Performance Studbooks. His sire, Ramzes stood at the Holstein Verband to refine the heavy warmblood horses of the area and was an immediate success as a sire producing international jumpers and dressage horses. Nimmerdor the KWPN stallion of the 20th Century, also produced champions in both advanced dressage and international jumping, siring many exceptional broodmares and daughters. Nimmerdor successfully competed in many World Cups and International Competitions.
