Tacorde is an easy going, laid back stallion with a wonderful character. He is very substantial with the right amount of bone for his huge frame and enough chrome to not be missed. He has been campaigned in the jumper ring up to 1.40m with great success including top ten finishes at Spruce Meadows, Amberlea, RMSJ and Arizona. He has a ton of scope and athletic ability and this gentle giant loves his job, jumping is definitely in his blood!
Tacorde's sire, Olympic Concorde was named Horse of the Year in Holland in 2003. He is consistently listed in the top ten for show jumper stallions worldwide. Some of his great offspring include Larino, Conquest, and the hugely successful Presley Boy who is bred very similarly to Tacorde.
Tacorde's dam, Narcis W is by the immensely popular Goodtimes. Goodtimes has produced many successful horses in both the jumper and dressage rings and several approved stallions. Narcis W's grand sire on the bottom is Damiro who is known for adding tractable minds and more great athletic ability.
Tacorde's offspring are just as we expected, substantial with excellent hind ends and super nice 'huntery' canters and their father's wonderful laid back temperament. Tacorde is proving to cross exceptionally well on blood type mares that need a bit more substance and a more tractable temperament. And yes he has put chrome on them all!
