Illusion is a rare combination of amazing temperament, personality, conformation and athleticism. He has floating gaits and is very impressive in the free jump chute, demonstrating his quickness off the ground, exceptional knee action and powerful hindquarters. His lighter athletic build is the epitomy of a sport pony with both horse looks and stride. He is super willing and has an excellent work ethic. His first foal will arrive this spring.

With less than 30 days of under saddle training, under his trainer's supervision, Illusion has been safely ridden over single fences, by a 7 year old. Illusion will begin his performance career this spring and is Canadian Performance Futurity nominated.

Illusion was Supreme Champion and Reserve Grand Champion at the 2009 Alberta Welsh Youngstock Futurities in Olds. At the same show, as a two year old, Illusion was Reserve Champion Pleasure Driving Pony. He finished Provincial Section B Reserve Champion in 2009. At his Sport Pony inspection,, Illusion was Reserve Site Champion and was scored as First Premium. He will go to Approvals this summer. In March, 2010, Illusion placed 4th in the three year old class at the Canadian Warmblood Open Chute Jumping Challenge.

Due to time conflicts, Illusion did not show as a three year old.

He is also closely related to highly acclaimed 2009 National Section B Champion, Pajon's Royal Bellringer, through the same sire and line breeding on the dam side.
