Lord Logger was bred in Germany and spent his first eleven years there. In 1993 he placed 2nd in the jumping division and 3rd overall in his 100 Day Test. Lord Logger successfully competed in the highest levels of show jumping ("M" and "S" classes) in Europe and sired international show jumpers as well as dressage and eventing horses. His son, Lord Samarkand, a 2000 Mecklinburg stallion, earned over 50 first place finishes in jumping competitions in Germany in 2005 and was National Champion 5 year old jumper at the Bundeschampionat.

In 2000 Lord Logger was imported to the US. His son Lyric (pictured below), an RPSI gelding out of Odyssey (Sandstone Conway out of Unze (Cassandra) by Caletto II), received high marks for conformation and jumping potential in the 4 year old International Jumper Futurity competition in 2009. Lyric's trainer and rider, Joie Gatlin, describes him as "a natural - wonderfully balanced with a great temperament and willingness to learn".

Lord Logger's bloodlines are legendary. Ladykiller xx reshaped the development of the modern day Holsteiner, spreading his influence throughout Europe as a sire of both breeding stock and performance horses. He sired 35 stallion sons including the twin pillars of Holstein: Landgraf and Lord Logger's sire, Lord. Farnese, Lord Logger's dam's sire, is the best of the historic Achill line and considered, by many authorities, to be the most significant of all Holsteiner sires.

Lord Logger has it all; talent, temperament, breeding and beauty. In short, everything you need to breed a great performance horse.
